The first story was good but a step down in the art quality for the series. The second story was pretty generic with even worse art. Hoping this was a filler issue.

After reading the series from the beginning, I’m dropping the series with this issue. I thought Wanda picking up the Sorcerer Supreme title was interesting but it seems to have outrun the original plan. A bit too similar to the current Zatanna series to read both.

Daredevil’s appearance was a fun start. Brian’s development into a villain is a good fit with Peter’s guilt (plus, yuck mushrooms!). Aunt May being whiny is getting old.

I was all in with the new Ultimate universe and then it fizzled once it was known to be ending. The fight against Spot was fun but I don’t care about the other people picking up the powers nor Hostillicus and The Cult of Annihilus. I’m going to guess it runs its course and disappears.

A really good issue for folks that read Death Spiral with Torment. I would say it’s required reading if you’re reading The Amazing Spider-Man to keep track of changes with Mary Jane, Venom, and Peter Parker’s world.

Decent issue setting the stage for the next Avengers event. Starring Wolverine but bringing lots of super-soldiers out of the woodwork.

I liked the flashback story and the X-Men continuing to help Captain America. The cover exaggerated the tension between Beast and Magneto, which felt unnecessary.
